Can you introduce yourself?

I'm Helena, I'm twelve years old and I love music.

Who are your three biggest musical inspirations?

That's hard. probably Sam Fender on top, Tom Walker in second and I don't really have a third. Just two favourites I like to stick by those two.

How did you get into making music? Because obviously, you're so young, how did you initially get into it?

When I was little I used to sing a lot of Disney songs and one day I sang karaoke and my mam and dad thought I was really good so I kinda just kept going from there.

What has been your most memorable performance to date?

Probably when I performed at last year's coast fest with two bands it was my best show to date.

Is there a specific person you either know personally or not who got you into making music?

Sam Fender one hundred percent.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of making music?

I like acting and musical theatre and I like art a bit but I'm not much of an artsy person.

What was your most memorable concert that you've seen live?

The most memorable concert I've seen live was definitely for my twelfth birthday I went to see Sam Fender. My birthday is on the third of August so for my birthday I went to see Sam Fender in Plymouth and it was amazing. I had covid for St James's Park so I had to go down to Plymouth.

What's next for you as an artist?

I've been getting in the studio and doing a bit of writing at the minute but I've decided to put a bit of a pause on it for the time being.

What is your favourite part about performing?

The adrenaline. I'm quite shy but as soon as you put me on stage and give me a microphone I'm like a different person.
